The meltdown is for the snow pile at the SW corner of the main parking lot including what’s on the pavement and yard up to the cedars South and West of the building.
The snow must be completely melted so there is no snow or ice left on the surface but the ground or pavement may be wet and ground beneath might be frozen.
The winning date and time will be determined by Holly and/or Frank as the date/time when the pile has first melted completely. In the event there is another snow fall after that, the contest will be deemed already complete.
People must guess the date and either AM or PM.
The contest will begin Feb 10 and end March 31 at 11:59pm.
To enter purchase a guess online for $10 or 3 guesses for $25 by going to the online store (either at www.fitnesscorner.ca or through the Achieve app). Alternatively, come into the gym to purchase guesses. There is no limit to how many guesses anyone can purchase.
Guesses will not be posted, so it’s possible for 2 or more people to guess the same date/time.
The prize for the closest guess is a 12 Month Silver Membership for Classes and Gym. In the event of a tie, the prize will be split between winners (e.g. 6 months each if there are 2 winners).
The membership prize cannot be redeemed for cash.
100% of proceeds go to Bernie’s Boat, that supports breast cancer survivors in Bruce and Grey Counties. Charitable receipts will be issued for purchases of $25 and more.
